Empty Bowls

empty-bowls-square-logo.png

The Empty Bowls program raises money for area food shelves, and teaches about hunger. It was started in the Robbinsdale Area Schools in 2010 by the Seven Dreams Education Foundation. The original Empty Bowls is a grassroots community event started in the 1990s in Michigan by two teachers. Since then, that event has spread to communities nation-wide. Seven Dreams supports the program by paying for the clay and glaze that community members use to make bowls for the event where we gather for soup and entertainment. The proceeds support  PRISM Golden Valley, MN and Near Food Shelf food shelves, both of which serve families who live within the district. Please attend this fun and important event every March - the need keeps growing and you can help!
