Seven Dreams has collected & repaired over 400 used instruments to put in the hands of students who need them!
We also welcome monetary donations to help the foundation pay for repairs.
Robbinsdale Area Schools values the arts and has award-winning programs in drama, music and fine arts. The Instruments 4 Kids is a Seven Dreams Education Foundation program that enables many students to participate in band and orchestra who otherwise would not be able to. We collaborate with district band and orchestra staff who identify students in the district who want to learn to play an instrument but whose families can not afford to rent or buy an instrument. Refurbished instruments are then donated the school district.
Through the generosity of our community, by 2024 the Seven Dreams Education Foundation has collected and donated 400 used instruments to the school district that we have cleaned and repaired. Over the years, the foundation has raised over $46,000 for repairs and the purchase of new instruments. Our band and orchestra teachers lend these instruments to students each year.
Please note that we can only accept instruments used in school band and orchestra programs. We do not have the space or ability to take pianos, drum sets, or organs.

How can I help?
Your help is needed to achieve the vision that every student has an opportunity to discover and experience music! We accept old instruments, in and condition, and monetary donations to support the program.
Financial Donations can be made either online or by mail.
If you make a donation online, through our website, please send an email to info@sevendreams.org to let us know that you made a donation to support the Instruments 4 Kids program. Thank you for supporting our students’ music education!
